Good news, and bad news!

Bad news...due to unforseen circumstances, we are no longer able to use Andreas car. However, we are hopeful that we will be able to find and insure a replacement in time!

Good news...we are starting to get some interest from the press. We are in the Cardiff Echo today: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/cardiff-news/2009/07/10/two-female-engineers-from-roath-take-their-banger-across-europe-for-charity-91466-24118293/. The Sheffield Star have shown some interest, so hopefully they will print a feature for us too.

Our total is now at £185, so we are slowly getting there - thanks to everyone who has sponsored us :-)

Lara will be back down in Cardiff next week, after ages in Aberdeen. We can now get our heads together and come up with some other fundraising ideas, anyone need their car washing!?!

Just thought we should set up a blog so you can follow our progress! So far we have:

1. entered the race
2. booked the ferry there
3. booked 1/4 campsites
4. been donated a car!!! - massive thanks to Andrea :-)

So we are well on the way. Next hurdle is to insure the car, and reach the sponsorship target of £1000. We currently have £145, so thanks to everyone who has sponsored us so far.
